I arrived in Barcelona in April of this year, new to the city and ready to start an artists residency at the contemporary arts centre Fabra i Coats. After a rollercoaster of language and cultural differences, new friends and experiences, finding studios and workshops, and overcoming excessive paperwork, I've decided to write an account of my artistic experiences here... to share with others and for my own personal record.
