Made using a phone camera and magnifying glass to record enlarged images of computer hardware, Motherboard Sequence is an experiment into the relationship between touch, the digital image and computer systems. The physical actions of panning and zooming on the phone’s screen becomes a fundamental quality of the video’s aesthetic. The glitch aesthetic is created as the finger pushes against its trajectory from a previous recording.
