Beyond Repair is a sculptural research project and new installation using hand-repaired obsolete TVs that interrogates ideas of ageing, damage, and repair innovation within a hypercapitalistic society facing resource scarcity and climate change. Beyond Repair’s innovation stems from a unique combination of traditional fabric repair techniques, digital screen technology and e-waste. Collaborators include Universities of York and Hull (UK).

The project is funded by Arts Council England and Artists Information Network. Louise will develop the project on a residency with Fabra I Coats in Barcelona.
